Wednesday,  09.28.04   An extremely rare Pokemon Card is being sold on Ebay today by Kevin N.  Here's what Kevin is saying about the card which is currently at $1000 as I post this:

"I'm selling the stamped "finalist" Tropical Wind card, only given out to 2nd and 1st place winners at the Worlds Championship 2004-2005 in Orlando.

There are only 12 made, 6 of them going to the Japanese players, which is nearly impossible to get, and 6 of them going to the other winners. I earned mine by gettin 2nd place 11-14 division losing to Takuya Yoneda."  Here's the link to the auction.  Good Luck with the auction Kevin!

Wednesday, 08.25.04  Well, I was at GenCon this past weekend, so I missed Worlds.  I witnessed a few of the Pokemon Pre-Release Events that took place at GenCon.  So we fell a bit behind posting news and COTD's ... but we're fully back starting today.  ;-)  - Pojo
