I'm Goin' In! A good read for the middle of the week. Rogue Rift was busy cranking out another deck fix for you. Today he gives us one simply called, Obliterate This! DeQuan tells us the results of another of his now famous tournaments at The Game Closet. More deck listings and tech for Regionals is contained within! Today, we have a treat for you. On the site with us today is a very special guest, and a man who needs no introduction in the Magic community: "The Reverend" Toby Watcher. Toby was nice enough to give us an article today. With 7th Edition back, Force Spike has returned. Toby was nice enough to talk a little about the card and it's place in the new environment. If you've never ready anything by Toby, this is, without a doubt, a must read, as is anything else he writes! Today, we also have for you a Tournament Report from DeQuan's latest JSS Qualifier in Waco, TX! He talks about the tournament ang gives out winning decklistings. Today, DeQuan talks about an issue that's very near and dear to every Magic player's heart: Getting Lucky. Wally West's Decks in a Flash got another addition today. Today, we look at a deck utilizing a lot of the new 7th Edition cards, centered around Elvish Piper. Speaking of Deck Mechanics, we added a new one! Atog's Domain with Jeff Lambert is now open for business. Everyone send him some decks to fix and let's get him busy! Thursday, April 5, 2001 Hey there all you Pojo people!! Today on the agenda, we have a couple of deck fixes for you, one in Better Tomes & Goblins and the other one in Rogue Rift's Deck Overhaul. As always, great reads. In the meanwhile, of you have not checked out our League yet, you should do so. It's going to be a great place for some Regionals testing!!! Wednesday, April 4, 2001 Well, it has taken almost 2 months, but the cycle is now complete. We finally have a Feature Writer for every day of the week, giving you a multitude of perspectives on the game. Today we added The Argothian Treehouse with Andy Van Zandt. Today, Andy talks about how to Be in Good Cheer while playing the game. Those expecting to see Random Beatings, it has been moved to Saturday, so be sure to check it out on it's new day! Tuesday, April 3, 2001 Sometimes, one of the biggest problems with a tournament is trying to figure out what the metagame is and how to beat it. Today at The Helpdesk, Jonathan talks a little about the upcoming preparations for Regionals and some Metagame Mistakes. Tim is here today with Techsas and he's letting us all know what some of us already had seen. Regionals: Where Skill Is Irrelevant. Go read it if you plan on trying to get into Nationals the hard way. Wednesday, March 28, 2001 Random Beatings - a Pojo staple. Today, Spike goes back to work on the beginning players, talking about The Beginnings of Deck Building. This is great for the player who has been using other people's decks and is ready to try to venture out on their own. Single Card Strategies got an addition just now, adding Minion of Leshrac & another Shifting Sky article to the mix. We now have a Magic League. Go to the page to learn how to do it! Tuesday, March 27, 2001 Well, we have now added a new feature writer here for the Tuesday slot. Pro Tour up-and-comer Jonathan Pechon will be manning Pojo's Helpdesk. Today he shows why he is the perfect candidate for the job with all of his Perpetual Rage. Rogue Rift's Deck Overhaul has a new fix for you. He takes a whack at a Thornscape deck. Look over it! Monday, March 26, 2001 John was able to get in The Monday Grind today, where he talks a little about a new card stirring up Type 2 - Warped Devotion. While waiting on The Monday Grind, I was able to get caught up a little with the Tournament Reports. That makes a total of 18 that are eligible for the now closed contest. I have not forgotten about it - I just have to come up with a fair way to decide the winner. Once one is decided, it will be announced. Sunday, March 25, 2001 For those inclined to know more about storyline, Miguel is back with Biographies. Today he gives a lesson over Barrin & Yawgmoth. Wally West has fixed up a few more decks for everyone. A good Bear-Geddon fix as well as tackling a Burstless Fires deck. Good reads for the less advanced players. I would like to apologize to everyone for the lack of reader submissions this last week. I've been pretty plowed with getting the new magazine together, and have been a little preoccupied. Hopefully later today and tomorrow I can work on getting caught up on those. In the meanwhile, I give you Cheerios in the Strategy Guide section. It's another fun extended combo deck - give it a look. Random Beatings are coming your way again. This week, Spike looks at the Planeshift effect on the environment making the observation, "The More Things Change...". Quite an insightful read with a bonus tournament report. Tuesday, March 20, 2001 After hiding for a while, Rogue Rift's Deck Overhaul has returned. He takes a look at a deck called Blacksmack today. Being it's a slow news day, have you seen our mall yet? If you need it, and it's Magic:The Gathering, one of the fine merchants in our mall is bound to have it. Be sure to check them out! Monday, March 19, 2001 Nev once again gives us his version of The Monday Grind. Fresh off the results from Pro Tour Tokyo, he gives us his wrap-up and analysis of the event. Our Strategy Guide got a full update today. Five new deck ideas from all sorts of perspectives. Check them out! A pair more Tournament Reports found their way here as well. This ups the count for the contest to 16. We still need more, though, so send them in - you have about 3 days left. As far as Single Card Strategies go, we've got some of those as well. Three more to be exact. Give them a once over. Sunday, March 18, 2001 After taking a little personal time off, Wally West is back, and today he's fixing up a Small Fires of Yavimaya deck. Give it a read. Well, Pro Tour Tokyo is now over. Zvi Mowshowitz won it all with his U/W deck. Congrats to him. Feel free to check out the coverage of the event here. Check out the following press release about the magazine! The Dragon's Den got updated today! DeQuan gives his State of the Game Address. Check out this My Skies article by Captain Simian. It's a pretty good one if you're considering the deck or have to play against it much. Oh yeah - one more thing. The Tournament Report contest has been extended a week until next Thursday to allow for a better prize and more reports, so go out there and get them! Thursday, March 15, 2001 Plenty of stuff on tap for today. First of all, a Single Card Strategy by Paul Hagan about Yagmoth's Agenda. Next we have another Better Tomes & Goblins, where Kevin looks at Elves. This should tide you over for now. It's Techsas time.
