contact him.
I've been
playing Yu-gi-oh! since just before the release of LoN.
I'm currently a Level 1 Yu-gi-oh! Judge. I also played
Magic for a brief span of time starting at around the
beginning of 2004, and I still play a bit. I'm starting
Marvel Vs., as well, so I guess you could say I like
TCGs a lot.
I've played in 3 Regionals, the first of which I can't
remember where I placed, but it isn't worth mentioning.
2nd one, 5-3, 31st place. 3rd Regional, 7-1, 3rd place.
So yeah, I'm going to Nats this year.
Guidelines:
I'm pretty good with most decks, but due to lack of
experience, if you're just looking for those last few
tweaks for your Burn deck, you probably don't want to
send it to me. That's not to say that I won't try to
help, though.
In addition, any fixes I give are most certainly subject
to tweaking as you playtest. I'll just through in a
caveat here, don't be too hasty when tweaking, patience
will be rewarded in this endeavor.
Now that I'm through the stuff that no one will read,
here are the RULES:
1. I'm generally going to do 1 deck a week and try to
keep it consistent at that.
2. If you send me a deck that I don't find any problems
with, or barely any, I will just e-mail you back saying
your deck is pretty good. Out of the rest of the decks,
I will select one and do it for that week. I MIGHT post
a really good deck as an example once in a while, but if
I start getting flooded by people that just want me to
show off their decks for them, then I will discontinue
that.
3. Please include Deck Fix and the theme in the subject
line
4. At the beginning, please give me an
alias/pseudonym/name and detail to me the goal/theme of
the deck and try to point out any
intricacies/combos/synergies that you think I might
miss.
5. I only have so much time, I apologize if I can't fix
your deck, but you probably aren't the only one sending
me something.
6. -Do NOT add attachments
to your e-mail.
7. Feel free to e-mail any questions, comments,
concerns, or decks to me at
pojodeckstaff@yahoo.com
8. -Please give me your deck
in a nice, easy to read format. That means that I want
it to look like this:
Monsters: xx
[x] Tribute Mon/Special summon requirement mon
...
[x] Non-trib mon
[x] Non-trib mon
...
Spells: xx
[x] Spell
[x] Spell
...
Traps: xx
[x] Trap
[x] Trap
...
I only care about your side and fusion deck if you
specifically want them to be reviewed.
You will be even MORE likely to get your deck fixed if
you further take the time to sort stuff out within your
deck so that it makes it easier to look at and doesn't
hurt my eyes (also DO NOT TYPE THE DECK IN ALL CAPS).
Here's an example of a really nice format for the deck
to be in:
Joe's Deck: 41 Cards
Monsters: 17
[1] Dark Necrofear
[2] Chaos Sorceror
[3] Lesser Fiend
[3] Archfiend Soldier
[3] Spirit Reaper
[2] Thunder Nyan-Nyan
[1] Hysteric Fairy
[1] Breaker the Magical Warrior
[1] Pinch Hopper
Spells: 2
[1] Pot of Greed
[1] Upstart Goblin
Traps: 21
[3] Waboku
[3] Solemn Jugment
[3] Sakuretsu Armor
[3] Bark of Dark Ruler
[3] Draining Shield
[2] Thunder of Ruler
[2] Ojama Trio
[1] Magic Cylinder
[1] Self-Destruct Button
This deck is very easy for me to read because everything
is sorted in either increasing or decreasing order of
how many copies of it are run, and it is broken up:
Monsters
-Special Summon Monsters
-Tribute Monsters
-Other Monsters
Spells
Traps
Please make similar efforts so that I can see your deck
nicely and will not immediately delete it out of
dizziness.
That will be all. Thank you in advance for following
these guidelines.
